I was asked by 1AB Media, an external communications firm for life sciences brands, to create a two-part animation series for one of their clients, BridgeBio. The objective was to bring awareness to Rare Disease Day by illustrating relevant facts and figures.

In the first video, I experimented with 3D elements. I like how the figures multiply at the beginning and give a faux 3D effect. The people on the globe was tricky for me to animate, but I learned a lot throughout the process.

In the second video, I’m really pleased with the data visualization and the transitions between the slides. One favorite part is the time-intensive clock. The white vs. blue background behind the clock is proportionately accurate to the amount of hours represented. I also really like the independence line graph. It’s an abstract graph with no real data points, but I think the idea is represented very well.
